What you can send back, and who to ask, depends on who sold it to you. Nothing physical is sold by this site, so returns split three ways.
Professor C’s Academy LLC makes everything listed on this site but does not sell all of it. How buying works names the seller for each thing; this page says what happens when you want your money back.
Courses bought on this site: refunded in full
A professional development course is the one thing you pay Professor C’s Academy LLC for directly, and it is the one thing I can refund. If a course was not what you needed, ask within two weeks of finishing it and tell me what fell short, and I refund it in full.
There is nothing to send back, because there is nothing physical to send. What happens instead is that your enrolment in that course ends and any certificate of completion generated from it is withdrawn, because a certificate records professional development you paid for. The money goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually shows on a statement within five to ten business days. That timing is the bank’s, not mine.
The full terms, including how to ask, are on the refund policy page. Before any of that: the first lesson of every course is free to read, with no signup and no card, and I would rather you decide from the teaching than from a sales page.
Classroom equipment and the book: returned to Amazon
The equipment in the classroom and lab equipment guide and the printed book are sold and shipped by Amazon, not by me. I never handle those transactions, I never see the order, and I cannot refund one.
Those purchases are covered by Amazon’s own returns policy, and you start a return from the orders page in your Amazon account. Amazon sets the return window, the condition rules and who pays return postage. Do not post an item to my business address: it is an office, it cannot accept goods, and a parcel sent there will not reach Amazon.
If a recommendation of mine turned out to be wrong, I still want to hear it. That is how the equipment guide gets better, even though the refund is Amazon’s to give.
Teachers Pay Teachers resources: TpT’s terms
Worksheets and unit bundles bought from the Professor C Academy store on Teachers Pay Teachers are downloadable files, sold and delivered on TpT’s platform. Refunds for them are requested through TpT and decided under TpT’s own refund terms, for the same reason: that sale is not processed here.
Scorae and ClassSense subscriptions
Scorae and ClassSense are billed on their own sites, on their own terms. Cancel or ask there, not here.
How to ask me for a refund
For a course bought on this site, write through the contact page within two weeks of finishing it and include three things: which course it was, the email address you used at checkout, and what did not work for you. You will get a reply from me, not from a ticketing system. For anything bought on Amazon or Teachers Pay Teachers, the request has to go to them, and writing to me will only lose you time.
